DURING THE COVID-19 SITUATION..
At ABS, we consider the wellbeing of our team, community and family a top priority. Given the situation we find ourselves in with regard to the COVID-19 virus, it became evident early on that we all need to do whatever we can to mitigate any negative impacts caused by this ever-changing scene. With that, here’s a quick rundown on what we at ABS have implemented.
Continuity – First off, we are open and operating! Service requests received by customers are being handled by our technicians, and this crew of dedicated people have been instructed to follow customers’ protocols for their facilities out of respect for their concerns. All essential services within our operations (dispatch, call center, warehouse, etc.) are running to ensure no customer is without proper support or supplies.
Facilities – We have increased our daily cleaning routines, including more stringent cleaning of equipment, workstations and hand washing, and we have compartmentalized sections of our buildings in order to limit unnecessary traffic between departments. In the meantime, if you are picking up supplies from our Jackson or Winona locations, please allow us to hand deliver these items to your car just outside either office.
Staff - Any one of our staff who feels they may have been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19, or merely feels ill has been directed to remain at home in isolation until they are well and healthy again. Salespeople who normally report to our office are working remotely and they are available to guide customers with any questions or support they may have with regard to business systems technology we offer. With online conferencing and other VOIP technology at hand, they are ready, willing and able to be in touch the same way they would if they were at a desk in the office.
To say it conservatively, this is an unprecedented situation. There is no corner of our life that has not been affected by this pandemic. Yet with mindful eyes and faithful hearts we know there is bright end to this public health crisis. Thank you for trusting us and for being with us as a partner in business technology.
